When Jeshika and Joe first approached me to design the flowers for their wedding party, I was thrilled—not just because they were such a wonderful couple to work with, but also because their chosen venue, The Walled Garden at Beeston Fields, is one of the most enchanting settings for a wedding. It’s a hidden gem, steeped in history and charm, with its stately grounds providing the perfect backdrop for a day full of love and celebration.
From the beginning, Jeshika shared her love for sunflowers—bright, cheerful blooms that became the heart of the floral arrangements. Together, we worked to incorporate them in a way that felt sophisticated and fitting for their bright, vibrant wedding day. Sunflowers added bursts of sunshine to bouquets and buttonholes, paired with soft, romantic garden roses, textured dahlias, whimsical snapdragons, and vibrant geums. This combination brought both elegance and personality to the day.
For Jeshika’s bridal bouquet, I wanted to create something that felt uniquely hers—bold yet delicate, joyful yet timeless. The golden glow of the sunflowers was softened by pastel roses, while dahlias and snapdragons added texture and movement. It was a bouquet designed to echo Jeshika’s warmth and energy while standing out beautifully against her wedding dress.
Throughout the venue, we extended the floral story. The ceremony space was framed by lush flowers grown by the couples friends and family, styled perfectly in bud vases by The Orange Tree Weddings . The reception tables were adorned with centerpieces that mirrored the garden’s beauty, seamlessly blending our designs with the venue’s natural charm.
Jeshika and Joe were such a pleasure to work with—open, creative, and full of trust in my process. Being part of their special day was an absolute joy, and seeing their faces light up as they walked into the flower-filled Walled Garden was one of those moments I’ll never forget.
The Walled Garden is a dream for any florist to work in, and this wedding was a perfect example of why. It provided the perfect canvas for a summer celebration.
